Do people compare you to your siblings?

Question

I constantly get compared to my siblings by people. It really gets annoying !
People mostly compare me to my older sisters.
- Your sisters are way thicker than you. ( Yeah well they're also older than me )
- Your sisters are so much smarter than you. ( Good for them )
- Your sisters hair is way curlier than yours. ( cool?)

No, but that's a luxury I get for being the oldest, I think. There wasn't anyone to compare me to lol

My siblings are triplets and are 8 years younger than me. We all went to the same schools and had a number of the same teachers so I'm sure they've had way more people compare them to each other and to me just because they're all together and I came first lol

Hardly. We’re 6 years apart so it gave us enough time to develop our own identities. The only thing they really compare is our skintone, difference in height, and what we’re doing in life.

Yeah I get compared to my sister a lot.

she is the more mature, sensible, less emotional one.

she’s a year younger and is living with her girlfriend.

every time I bump in to mutual friends or simply my friends that know her, I get the usual litany.

I have since about 8 been compared to the little Angel lol.

My parents used to compare me with my younger brother & would always scold me & tell me to be a good boy & study harder like my little brother.

All this constant comparison took a toll on my mental health & caused me to develop a lot of insecurity within me.

I don't have siblings, but my mom and grandmother were always comparing me to my cousin. How much taller and well spoken he is, how much more independent he is, how he got his life together. Even his BAD qualities my mom will say, "You talk about your cousin, but you're much worse!"

My youngest sister is on another level so I don't get compared to her.  My younger sister was my mum's ideal baby, blonde and constantly sleeping and I was a nightmare baby, darker and insomniac.
