I was 14 years old and my father took me out on some private property. Dirt road freshly grated 55 Chevy Be-lair, 283 with a Rochester carb, and three on the Column. My introduction to Clutch technology.
Learning to drive a stick shift car is like so many other things in life. You have to let go at some point and trust that your instruction has sunk in. If it is something they want to do, they will figure it out. Be there to correct if you see a mistake. Not authoritarian but as a suggestion and always through humor.
Well how else would they learn? I think I was maybe 12 when I learned to drive
Yeah with lots of precautions. I let my neice practice and she got her license
