It was a stick shift, of course. At first, I drove around on farm roads. But then one day, my grandfather said take a left and put me on to a major road and I drove him all the way to the town.

Yes you have to make your kids be the best they can be. Even if that means losing a car to teach a lesson. For me wrecking my parents car taught me to pay more attention real quick. Or if they don't want to drive cause they are afraid then you really make them do it. If not it's like saying it's ok to hold yourself back from being all you can be. You have to push your children to be great but at the same time leave them room to make mistakes. The only mistake is being a afraid of change

Depends on if the kids want to go or not. I ended up waiting until I was 17 to get my license, not due to any lack of help but because I just didn’t want to bother. My dad put me in driving school without any real introduction so I could hurry up and get my license. I didn’t really care lol
