How do I avoid finishing homework on weekends?

This is not a every weekend thing I do have time to do other things but sometimes I’ll be overloaded with homework. I need the weekends to finish it. I have a couple of assignments I have to do and I work full-time my friends are saying that I’ve been using that excuse for like three weeks and they’re starting to think that I don’t really want to hang out with them anymore so they had a bone to pick with me and started cussing me out, but here’s the thing I asked them if they wanted to hang out this weekend but they didn’t answer me and I wanted to say she didn’t know because she thinks that my educations way more important than her friends. I mean it is important, but it’s not more important than my friends and family. You try having multiple assignments a week and working full-time

First of all, those aren’t good friends. A good friend will understand you’ve got a lot going on, respect that and work with you to actually schedule something vs just thinking you can make time whenever they ask. Friends like that are very immature and self centered.


Second, try the approach I just mentioned and try putting things on the calendar, writing out your schedule and moving around what you can. I’m not sure if you’re someone who writes their schedule out vs just making mental notes of what you have going on but sometimes seeing it all on paper could help.


Lastly, keep your eyes on the prize. I remember trying to juggle being a student along with full time work, that work (unofficially) being a manager, having to wear several hats to get things done for different departments. It’s stressful, overwhelming, but it isn’t forever because school has to end sometime. Even if you feel swamped right now there is a silver lining, so hang in there.

Your "friends " aren't real friends and they are immature af. Keep grinding. Focus on education and your job. If you have good friends they would be happy for you and encourage you locking in yo achieve your goals. There was a time when I was working 16 hour shifts. My friends had a key to my place. If they wanted to see me they would come through because they knew I was busy working/saving to get ahead.

Enough of that you got to back the teachers off. They think you don’t work or have nothing else to do but homework school is long enough and exhausting. You tell them you’re playing school sports and they won’t push you that hard.
