Do you have one of those friends who is nothing but trouble, but you keep them around anyway?

You know the type. You want to put distance between you two, but they’re just too much fun to be around. Unfortunately that fun is often punctuated with negative consequences, or even disaster.
If you don’t have a friend like that, are you that friend? There’s often one in every friend group.
I have been the bad influence more often than not, but i have had friends who gave me a head of steam, so to speak, rather than trying to talk sense into me or fleeing my shenanigans entirely.
How about you? Are you the troublemaker or do you keep one around?

I did. He is dead now. The last I spoke to him, he just got out of Juvenile Detention. He wanted to hang out but I was on a different path by then. I was surprised I blew him off in the moment as the call came out pf the blue. But it was the right decision.

I think I'm like that but I'm also really good at staying out of trouble so it's hard to say. Most of my friends don't know how I'm alive with a clean criminal record.

I have two friends like that. Used to have more. Those friendships are very transient

I iused to have a friend like that. He used to say he was a lover not a fighter, then he would start a fight with somebody and the rest of us would have to bail him out.

We had one and he pulled one away with him as he destroyed every car his dad bought him and the one he pulled away ceased being his friend a fee years later. I, on the other hand, remained friends from a distance with them both.

Yup. One friend in particular is an idiot. But he's a harmless idiot and has a good heart.

Oh yes I do, it's that friend you don't even introduce to any of your gfs because you know he's going to throw so many cringe moments when he opens his mouth a bit too much
