Depends on the reason I dislike them.
This guy always started fights about my personal choices/beliefs. I didn't mind, cause she never forced us to get along and he didn't act like that around her. I think he felt personally offended I was a vegetarian and also didn't share his faith. That's a compatibility issue and if she can get along with him, why should I have an issue?
But if I find the friend morally reprehensible (let's sat he is a convicted sex offender) that would make me view my friend negatively. You can't support people who victimize others.
oh yeah definitely the last paragraph i would for sure say something and probably stop talking to them altogether if they kept being friends with them.
we need to draw a line somewhere right?
@7Phoenix7 I clicked option 2 then I reflected some more. Option 2 is my general stance, live and let live.
I pay attention to my intuition, so if I get a bad read on someone, it’s hard to ignore it.
That said… I don’t try to control who my friends connect with.
I just keep a quiet awareness and trust that people reveal themselves over time.
For me, it’s not about the person I dislike… it’s about wanting the people I care about to be safe from any harm..
Pretty much my take on it. i just figure they see something in the other person i don't see lol.
unless they are really evil then i might say something to them for their own safety :o
@VioletHaze brought up a good example when i'd speak up
It's not an abnormal situation, I'm used to that, it's okay. But I'll probably talk about it with my friend, here and there lol
Hmm, depends on how much I dislike the other person.
Thanks for the MHO

This happened with my best friend, she was really close friends with this girl whom many people including me disliked. And I just told her that I didn't have good feelings about that girl but she is free to be friends with her and she won't have any further complains from me, I just warned her.
My feelings were right, that girl was a bish.
Bish! Lol
i wouldn’t view my friend negatively at all, but i do have a situation like this and if i know the girl that i don’t exactly get along with is going to be there, then i don’t go😅😅 but i am still really good friends with my actual friend!!😊
Yeah that would be how id handle it too
I won't say it but I'm thinking "Don't you hurt my friend."
If I don't like somebody it's because that person has red flags or a bad influence. My friend's still welcome, I'll play nice, but I'm on high alert whenever that person is near. I also have trouble hiding my death glare.
It happens. You learn to get over it and create better boundaries.
Its ok. Long as all of us don't meet up.
