How do you get along with a difficult mother-in-law before baby arrives?

My mother in law lives in the Midwest, but since my due date is in early April and it's March 28th she's flying over here next week to help. My husband is happy, and I'm trying to be, but we don't get along. She's always correcting me. And she's so much drama. The last time the family was all together she caused constant drama. She even made a really rude comment about adoption knowing that my older brother was adopted. Anyway, I'm not looking forward to it. How do you all get a long with your mother in laws

She enjoys attention. Shower her in it and she’ll be your best friend. But if you’re not willing to give that much of your energy to her, I also wouldn’t think about it much. If she’s upset, I’m sure she’ll tell you and you can confront the issue but otherwise just let her be dramatic and gray rock her
