What do you think about parents forcing kids to be gender neutral?

I have this single dad friend of mine who just got full custody of his son. It wasn't because the mother was bad, it was because their son begged the courts to let him live with his dad. Reason being, She is refusing to let him do things that are traditional boy things. Insists that he be called they them instead of him, the mother has quite literally told him that its impossible for him to be a boy or girl.

Im keeping my mouth shut to them, dad won his case, but here i will say choosing to force a child to be gender neutral is moronic.

PC has gone too far with the mother. Don't know why. It's foolish. It would be one thing if the kid was seeking this choice.. He isn't. What she was doing WAS bad and just off. Maybe she'll miss being with her son and wake up.
