If you died, how would your online friends know?

Just to be VERY CLEAR, I'M NOT SUICIDAL, I'M A HAPPY MERRY GIRL ENJOYING CHOCOLATE MILK RN. I saw this in a post few years ago and this thought always bugged me because I'm close to few people over here who matter to me and if I were to randomly die due to an accident or whatever then how would they know? They would just think I ghosted them which would be messed up.

However, I had this problem before, no I don't mean I died before, I mean I thought about a solution to address long distance relationships, so one of my friends is tasked with mail contacts in case I die.
