Is it weird my dad’s ex-coworker added me on Facebook but not him?

Do you think your dad notices or cares? How well did you know the guy before? If he seems like he's interested in you based on his interaction, maybe just mention it to your dad. If he's just making harmless non-flirty comments then this seems like nothing.

haven't had one conversation with him. Used to come to my parents house when they had parties. Nothing too flirty just likes my story when I post myself.

The only i reason i asked is because my dad has social media too. Hell i sometimes even tag him. Wondering why would he not add my dad as a facebook friend before me. Ik it sound crazy but its a little questionable

That is weird. And inappropriate. He either likes you or wants to hook up with you. If you like him back it might not be an issue. Just don’t tell your dad, or his feelings will be hurt and he’ll probably get protective of you.

yea. he probably thinks you're at least somewhat attractive and wants to follow you for that reason, or maybe he's even hoping you could one day sleep with him or date him
