Yep! I have a friend I’ve now known since middle school who did this around when we were 23-24.‘she’d just had her second kid, husband was either working a lot or would often go out with friends in his free time. She was also a stay at home mom. Her efforts to text, call or hang out became a bit demanding, too many times she’d try inserting herself in current-standing plans I had or always wanted my free time. So I eventually had to have a conversation about it. Ultimately the issue was loneliness and boredom, she hated feeling like her young years were being wasted and she wanted to enjoy herself not just stay home. Especially since her husband always made time for his friends.
