Would You Be Supportive Of Your Childs Decision To Sex Change?

Question

I have come across this situation when a single mother with two daughters allowed her younger daughter to become a boy when she was 13 or 14, or even younger.

I think this is not a decision for a young person to be allowed to make, because they have no experience of life.

What is your opinion?

Absolutely not! I don't even think there is such a thing as being trans. Homosexual transvestite, yes, but not trans.

I would not allow it. I would hope that I had raised them right and that they trusted me. I would talk to them reasonably about the facts of life and share information with them.

Once they were an adult, moved out, and could pay for it themselves, they could do what they want. But, even then, I would not acknowledge that they were the opposite gender.

I would pay to get them the proper psychological help they needed, but not so-called "gender affirming care" with some woke shrink.
If necessary, I would move them out of the environment that gave them the idea that there was such a thing as transgender and into a wholesome environment like a farm or ranch where they were cut off from internet and cell phone.

I would accept them being homosexual but not trans. I wouldn't even allow a boy to dress like a girl.

by the way, I'm not conservative or religious. But I know what is delusion and insanity.

While id spend most of my time talking and hopefully talking them out of it, id ultimately let them do what they want if they were an adult age. Id be supportive of their decision

No if they what to have a sex change they can wait until they're grown and out of my house. In most cases it's a boy who just more feminine than most boys or a girl who's more tomboyish then most girls. I would also tell them that I once thought I was a boy trapped in a girl's body and look were I am now still female and thankfully I wasn't a teenager in today's world

Hell no!

Not unless they are the real deal that was born with both genders.

And not until they are older and can be as sure as they can be about the operation.

But I would have to see medical scans showing me proof that they are struggling with it and it would make them feel better.
