Yep, sure have. When Texaa has that ice storm all over the state and power went out in a lot of places, we just so happened to live in a place close to a major military base. We retained power and let our friends come over for a hot meal and a shower. If they so wanted they could have stayed over too.

We will always open our doors to friends and family as long as nobody is abusing our generosity which some family members have unfortunately.

Absolutely. We have in the past. We had relatives get stranded after a flight cancellation stay with us. Weve had neighbors shelter in our bomb shelter during hurricanes.
