I have two brothers and... the girlfriends never were an "issue" for me in any way, same for my friends who are dudes...

now, the girls however...

back during the college days... if I KNEW for sure about some of those guys being any kind of bad news, I would just tell them, forget about that one...

and they just would, forget about them, lol

but if it were about personalities or whatever... I didn't care about that, people like what they like and that's up to them
