When i was younger i use to think my uncle was mean for not letting my cousins have pets in the house or pets at all. But now that im older i kind of get it 😅. Would you allow pets in your house?

When my wife and I first got married, we lived in an apartment. She wanted a pet but I didn't because we both worked full time and it seemed impractical. Plus, many apartments have a no pet policy.
But a few months after we were married, I happened to see a tiny kitten on the white line of a busy highway. I stopped, ran out and caught it just as a tsunami of cars was coming.
I brought it home and my wife said "Oh, can we keep it? Can we keep it?" as she clutched it to her breast. I said "Of course."
We named her Rosecrans (Rosie) after the highway where I found her.
We formally adopted her at a Pet Smart, got her spayed and vaccinated. The vet said she was 5 weeks old.
She turned into the best kitty ever. We loved her.
We moved three times with her and wound up with our own house. We always kept her indoors to keep her safe.
She lived for 22 years.

We currently have 3 cats and a bunny.

We never had a dog because they are too high maintenance and they bark.
