What's one thing you're grateful for this morning that you used to take for granted?

I am being reminded every morning how lucky I am to be healthy and to be able to wake up without pain.

I came to realize that the day I moved to my new place when I moved out of my parents' house when I was 18 and moved close to a home for children and youth that are afflicted with trisomy 21 (Down syndrome).

Those kids require a 24/7 care and will always be depending on people looking after them. It breaks my heart every time I pass by that place. Those kids are the sweetest you can imagine, alway wanting to chat with you and laughing but reminding you how lucky you are.
