When you hang out in a group of people and multiple friends bring along other friends, it's inevitable you won't like everyone. It happens. I just avoid ending up one on one with them if I can or having any direct conversation and just be polite if it ends up happening. I wouldn't hang out with someone in a one on one situation though if I didn't like them.

Yes but it was in a group. It was someone that I just didn't care for. It wasn't that I hated them or anything like that. I just found them to be obnoxious. They were friends with a friend of mine and we were all together in a group. I survived.
