Why do crazy cat people feel such a strong need to send everyone pictures of their cats when no one else is really interested?

I loved all the dogs I ever had but rarely ever send out pics of them unless I have a funny or interesting one and the subject of dogs, or pictures of them, comes up in a conversation! Even then, I probably won't!

I've NEVER seen a dog owner do this unless the dog was doing something funny.
