Does anyone else dislike overprotective ‘daddy’s girls’ dynamics?

I hate how some women are constantly controlled by their dad's and thought of as little girls. They are not let to make their own decisions and make mistakes and be adults. Yet, their dads overprotect them to the point it becomes controlling and creepy. They hate all the men their daughter dates and make their life a living hell.

I find it entertaining sometimes when I see this among my friends. Personally my dad wanted a boy, so I got member of men dominated hunting club before I was 10 and went to fishing in Norway several times with a group of men before I had my first boyfriend, so was daddies girl for me never a topic.
This is why lot of girls have a rude awakening in situations their parents can't take countability and help them financially. It's like the colorful canary bird who escaped golden cage it was raised in and this bird tries to fly together with crows, sparrows, doves who know instinctively that a hawk above them in the sky isn't their friend.

Dad's protecting their daughters normally on a daily basis sure but guys trying to date them and having their dad keeping them completely distant and non communicative from their girlfriend is annoying as hell and doesn't make the relationship (s) work.

Like just keeping them away and preventing any form of relationships whatsoever. It causes deal breakers all the time with guys

I can see why some fathers protect their daughters to a point to keep them from making really big mistakes that might ruin their lives like getting pregnant when they aren’t ready yet
But I believe girls are allowed to make mistakes otherwise how are you supposed to learn anything
