Is it normal for close friends or roommates to change clothes together?

A visiting friend was surprised to see my roommate openly change in front of us. After my roommate left, she said it was just unexpected because she's never had roommates like that. I told her it's our home and not our place to judge, and she agreed, but now I'm second-guessing if my friends and I are the outliers.

Even if you personally don't feel comfortable changing in front of friends/roommates, I feel like most people are aware that some friends are okay with this. She probably could have been a little more aware that someone was visiting but she's allowed to change however she wants in her house.

Really depends on the people. Some I feel more comfortable with than others.

Maybe not super common but I have a friend who I am comfortable changing in front of. I don’t find it weird even though most people probably aren’t like that.
