What do you do if you are invited to an event with a friend but they are bringing another person you dislike?

I would still go anyway and just try to get along with that person i don't like

I would pass on going

I would tell them i would go if they drop the other person they are bringing

In my case it was a camping trip for a week in Scotland, and the mutual friend dropped out at the last minute!

It turned out all right in the end. The whisky probably helped.
