Is it true that if two people talk til they fall asleep feelings will develop eventually?

I've been talking to this girl lately til we fall asleep(it's been 2 months). She literally wants us to sleep together on the phone. We're just friends, and I know she just needs someone to talk to although we sometimes run out of topic she just needs company. Although she have some other friends.. And I'm okay with it. But my sister warned me, that soon feelings will develop and since she just needed someone to talk to I might get hurt?

I think she just wants attention as of right now. I don't think you can say for sure that feelings will develop.

For instance -

I have a guy friend that has been head over heels for me for 4 years (we have some of the same friends and they tell me...and he has made it obvious a number of times)

And I feel very close to him. We talk late at night all the time. We talk about very personal, deep subjects. We have the same viewpoint. He thinks I'm attractive. He's better looking than half the people I have fell in love with.

However...for some reason I have never been attracted to him beyond a friend. I want to be...but I am not. It's bizzarre and I still don't get why not!

I think we do want each other as a friend. But sometimes it's getting weird. Like she started getting mad at me for not talking while we are on the phone saying "It seems like you don't even like talking to me blahblah" and 2 days ago she didn't talk to me the whole day so I respected it and gave her space but then she said "Wow, really not talking to me" then I said that she was the one who didn't replied and she said "You didn't even tried talking to me" (That really got me confused)

And just last night. I hang up the phone because she's cranky. and she later apologized. Then she wanted to talk so she called I asked "So why did you call?" and she was like "Okay, sorry, I'll hang up" and she deleted me. Do I have to apologize? I'm sorry for dumping this to you, it just seems that you know this situation lol

hmmmm...what kind of stuff does SHE bring up when your on the phone? I'm trying to figure out where she's coming from. And how long have you known her?

We started talking months ago about her ex and then we became closer. So we talk about everything, watch movies together on the phone, we just like being on the phone even if we ran out of topic while doing our papers and stuffs. I'm fine with being friends because I like this girl I mean although she's really cranky and grumpy she's a good friend. It's just that my friends started teasing me that she's like my girlfriend. Because we argue like a couple and stuffs.

I don't know what to consider flirting. But it's really nice when she waits for me to get home. And she always apologize when she knows I was kind of disappointed. I never told her about my birthday and we argued that day but she surprised me by a call greeting and apology. She sometimes say "I'm thinking of you joke" But we never flirted like flirted. She said she likes my mind set. Compliments? no, she always calls me ugly or fat lol

Hmmm, I'd say that she likes you as a person but that is all at the time.

As far as transitioning into something more - I can't say that will happen. With myself, I how found that the guy I was tell you about and others that I have been extremely close to stay friends. I have already made myself vulnerable around them and I still do not find myself romantically interested. On the other hand - this guy I am in love with now, I have known him for 6 years. We were in the same group in high school

however we never really had conversations (besides drunk conversations and banter..lol) Actually we were even at a party in high school and he was trying to kiss me and snuggle with me on the couch...I looked and him and said "not a chance dude" lol. But we started talking, 4 years later and now I am falling for him.

Thats my experience with it...but you never know!

Yeah, good point! I think we're in-friend-love with each other (at least for me) haha! It's just that pressure came upon since a common friend started teasing us and we pretend not to hear it or understand. And I got confused about how she gets mad at me when I seem not interested in talking but I realized girls are in general grumpy and cranky haha. I should not let this affect our friendship. I really like her as a person, she's like my best friend and that's what matters now. Thanks, really!

It seems like she considers you her friend. Friends do things like this. It doesn't necessarily mean that she has any romantic feelings for you and she doesn't have to. Don't be a jerk and stop talking to her just because there's nothing in it for you.

It depend but if talking everyday for me will develops feeling...it happens to me and I end up hurting like hell..so what your sister say is right...just make sure there is a line there between you two I guess..

It depends. Feelings could already be there. It's hard to tell. And, your sister is sorta right. It's a thin line that you're walking on.

it can be a platonic thing too but I'm leaning more towards yea it could be she likes you or finds comfort with u, just don't be her doormat or anything be careful some grls can use guys
