Probably as in my opinion guys generally do not befriend gals without ulterior motives of f*cking her and it's extremely unlikely a guy would take care of a gal if he didn't have sexual intentions towards her.

I really don't like the "guys are like cavemen" stereotype. I have befriended plenty of girls who I never had any intention of dating. And any decent friend should be willing to help another in a situation like this. I would much rather take on the inconvenience of driving someone home than see on the news how they were killed in a car accident, raped, or killed. You seem to be suggesting otherwise and, if so, that's pretty damn offensive.

The proposition that men have little to no interest in women outside of their sexual organs is generally put forward by 2nd-3rd wave feminists. Your opinion is believed to be true by more people than just you. I think Pick-Up Artists would agree as well, oddly enough. It can be inflammatory, as AsherF has displayed.

The other side of that paradigm is that women are otherwise uninteresting to men, and that's sad. It's a depressing thing to be arguing is true.

Seems you're probably butthurt overlooking that not wanting to be gal's friends doesn't mean the sole interest is sex. I'm guessing there's romantic intentions along as well.

It's possible he's a decent guy, and a real friend. Like, the real kind of friend.

He took care of you, or you could say he protected you. The old chivalry, where men protect women from lions, tigers, bears, dragons, dangerous men, women, meteors, forest fires etc.
