Drunk and he took care of me?

I was at a college party with a group of friends last night when one of them passed out. I called one of my closest friends (which I like and have had mixed signals from) to come help, but by then, it was too late and we needed to call 911. He calls back and asks where I am, and instructs me to text him when I am heading home (to my residence hall). I find him waiting right outside of my door when I come home and he comes in with me and helps me get hydrated and into bed. Before I sleep, he says he's glad I've finally had the "college experience"(I'd never been drunk before) and that I have really sparkly eyes. What does that mean? Does he like me or is he taking care of me the way a good friend should?

I'd err on the side of he likes you. Most guy friends won't go that far unless you were already with them (and they're good people).

I'd say he's into you. But drunk memories aren't always reliable.
