What are some signs that your same sex friend likes you?

I'm starting to wonder if my best friend likes me more than as a friend. She gets really jealous of any guys I date. I'm not sure exactly why that is. She never dates any guys herself. And she never likes them. She finds fault with every one of them. Whether they actually do anything worth disliking them for or not.

She always tells me how beautiful I am. She's very affectionate.

Once, she stayed a few nights with me. She went to bed in the living room on my couch. I woke up with her in my bed with me the next morning. When she woke up, she said, "I love waking up next to you." I was shocked and didn't know how to react, so I pretended like I was still asleep.

BUT, she does have a tendency to be very affectionate with everyone. Way more affectionate than the average person. We're best friends. So I'm not certain of what to make of it.

Lol the same thing happened to me, and I went about it the wring way. I said she's far to clingy and I can't breath when imnwith her. I was seeing this guy and she felt like her role was getting replaced so she started actling like a d***. Well anyway now me and her don't talk at all. I suggest you don't do what I did if you want to save your friendship

Lol, I know. I think it's sort of funny that that happened, too... She says that she's straight. But I don't think she'd tell me if she were into girls. She's really weird about things like that.
