Whats Aegyo tone? And please give me insights on Korea!

So I'll be moving to South Korea soon and wanted to learn about Korea..my friend said people there talk in cute aegyo tone...so I searched it on Korea and found this ( link ) anyways...like...is it really that bad? my friend was joking with me and told me to learn Korean and do that tone..but...it does sound gross and girlie like in the vid..anyways can someone give me insights on Korean culture too? THANKS

i don't know what you have heard from where... anyway.
aegyo tone. this is an intentionally played (or acted) seductive tone. usual intention (use-case) is to make the male to horny or to follow female's request. the core concept is simulating a voice tone of a horny girl who is too shy, innocent and naive to ask a guy to have sex, and just waiting the guy to catch her intention.

as you see, this is very complex and tricky acting. anyway the effect was so awesome, then girls used this tone too much to use the guys, and most guys learned the consequences. and now most guys just blame the girls with this tone. but anyway, still very effective between lovers in bed or less experienced guys.

the girl in the video is quiet well playing. actually she's so pretty then its effect maximized. because the core is playing an innocent and naive character, sometimes tiny errors may increase the effect, but not always.

though this is just a role-playing-game, but obviously seductive tone, and should't be used on anyone anywhere. especially people who are allergic to seductive tone. that's why you feel gross with your friend.

Well aegyo tone is really unclear for me and never heard of it while I went to South Korea. But if your wanting to learn the language just get a few words that are important like How do you say this? How much? Where is the bathroom? I want beef/chicken?

You really absorb the language once you have been there or awhile.Once you learn the language you might understand what aegyo tone is. Ohh and always buy bottled water or liquor since the water is bad and will cause you sickness so yea=D And if you are wondering with the chicken and stuff just make sure you don't eat cat or dog lol and "kimshe" that's spelled phonetically but it is like sour cabbage and is pretty weird but you must try it once=D

Ohhh and a thing that I remember is that people are very polite such as when people are giving you change they will treat it with respect and such. This all could change with the people since I was at an air force base mostly but you will get with the program=D

P.S I was little when I went there so some things might be wrong and I might be thinking of Thailand lol=D
