If he buys you lunch does he like you more than a friend?

This is the second time my coworker had bought lunch for me. He has offered to buy for me more than this but I only started letting him buy for me recently because I realized always rejecting his offers would make things "just friends" between us.

The reason why I question if he likes me more than a friend is because he is such a nice person that he has bought Starbucks for another coworker whom I know he doesn't have any feeling for ( she had a fiance and he told me she goes through a lot of guys.)

Do you guys only buy things for girls you would consider being more than friends with? Or is it nothing special when a guy buys a girl lunch?

Lunch now that's a peace offering but now dinner that's something else when he ask you out for dinner he definitely likes you and he was being nice buying you lunch and that's sweet but don't assume anything over lunch cause asking someone out to dinner is the real deal and easier way of knowing if he likes you and you should reject it just take turns when he does something nice just be nice back and get him his favorite coffee the next morning for work. But you are lucky to him for him to even consider you in lunch and offering to pay so he's definitely thinking about you!

Idk too many guys who will spend money on a girl they had no sexual interest in. maybe that's his style of seduction.maybe he likes to do the casual lunch date thing even if he acts like just a friend in other ways

He's never had a girlfriend before if that helps make it easier to guess if its more thand a friend type of thing right? It is really nice to have someone actually think about me for once. Usually I'm the person to buy things for friends/crushes.

Men at work by me lunch/snacks a lot.. but its nothing more than being friends/colleagues. I'm sure he is doing the same.

it wasn't at work when he bought for me. We started taking summer classes in college together and on the way home he asked if I was hungry and took me out to eat.

They don't just buy it for me AT work. We go out for lunch, or go somewhere, or they go get lunch and bring it on and we eat together.

And especially if you were riding together. I would say he's just being nice.

If he's doing it for other people, I think he's just being nice.

If he does it just for you, then I'd take that as a sign.

I only know of that one time he bought another coworker coffee because she was tired from working production all day. Haven't had a chance to see if he is doing the same thing for other people, but if he was would that mean I'm friend zoned?

I would say the more people he does it for, the more likely it is that he sees you only as a friend. I had a friend who bought stuff for people. He wasn't rich or anything. He was just a genuinely nice person. It got kinda embarrassing really. Maybe he's that type of guy.
