Will doing a favor for a girl I like land me in the friend zone?

She's sick, but she told me that she has to come in to school tomorrow to get homework and stuff. I then offered to pick up the work for her and bring it to her house after school. She pretty much freaked out (in a good way) at how nice of a gesture this was and started hugging me and telling how great I was. I could tell it was genuine, she didn't just do all that so I'd do her more favors in the future to get hugs or whatever. Keep in mind, she didn't ask me, I offered because I wanted her to stay home and get better and stuff. So, will an offered favor bring me closer to a romantic relationship, or closer to the friend zone.

I think one way to make sure that you aren't in the friendzone is to do things with an ulterior motive. Not a weird one, but help her so that she knows she's on your mind. Or so that you stick in her mind. Or so that you get to spend some extra time with her, or look good in front of her family/friends or something. I'm not saying don't be a good person for goodness's sake, but I find that putting a spin on it like this helps people avoid the friendzone.

That's not a friend zone gesture. Doing sweet things makes us fall but don't allow that to b a custom. Doing nice things to get her but once a relationship is established you stop being nice.

No, it won't land you in the friend zone. It shows that you have her back, but if you continue to do them without giving her hints it may friendzone you. Spend time with her. Good Luck !

Contrary to what guys think, doing sweet things for a girl will not land you in the friend zone.

It will show her you like her and may lead to her being interested.
