A girl wants me to go on a road trip with her. What exactly does this mean? She told her close friends about me, and her close friends keep teasing me and her being an item.

The problem is that, she said she is not looking for a relationship but We are super close, I asked her why she gives a vague answer.

But I know she likes me because her friends are like "John you should take her to the italian restaurant"

I can't tell from what you described. It could be that you're in the friend zone. It could be that she's feeling you out for more. It could be that she does like you but is holding back because she really doesn't want to be in a relationship. I guess she said she does not really want a relationship because she doesn't want to rush vnythinfg but I am pretty sure if you guys continue spending lots more time together Then it can transpire into a relationship.slowly but surely.
