are my parents right to take such drastic action to stop me drinking alcohol underage? in the past couple of weeks i have been coming home drunk ( NOT ON SCHOOL NIGHTS ) my parents said they are worried and unless i stop drinking they will have to take drastic action, last Friday night i got brought home DRUNK by the police my parents went mad and said they have had enough, the next morning Saturday my parents locked me in my bedroom as a punishment, they said i can no longer be trusted and they have no option but to lock me up for my own good as well as to punish, my parents said i will serve a minimum of 4 weekends imprisonment, no tv no phone etc, i will be set punishment essays to write and my parents have given me leaflets on the dangers of underage drinking , i have to copy these out several times as part of my punishment ADVICE PLEASE?

I constantly get compared to my siblings by people. It really gets annoying !
People mostly compare me to my older sisters.
- Your sisters are way thicker than you. ( Yeah well they're also older than me )

There's a stereotype about dogs wanting human food, but in my personal experiences, my dogs don't bother, but my cats will literally try to take your food out of your hands.

SO HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING...
If you found out your FIANCE was having a baby by someone else in your family and that they had revealed they recently slept with your SIBLING who revealed that your STEPPARENT advised them to get together since they had a better connection but the BIOLOGICAL PARENT advised against it and then revealed they only advise against it because they were jealous and used to date your fiance too before you met them yet your BEST FRIEND then revealed they’d been keeping this all a secret but that they caught your fiance cheating with your GRANDPARENT last week, who would you be mad at first? Who’s getting snapped on?

I mean surely you’re mad at your sibling, parents and grandparent for all sleeping with your fiance. And you’re mad at your stepparent for encouraging it to all go down. Then of course you’re mad at your best friend for keeping it all a secret. Shoot maybe you’re even mad at your damn self. (by the way nothing incestual going on here.) But who are you taking your anger out on first?

Supposely a parent loves you, looks out for your best interest, wants the best for you and wants you to be happy right?

Well whenever I hear horror stories of parents constantly voicing their disapproval of their child's relationship, badmouthing about their partners to their child and others, threatening to kick their child out of the house or disowning them, trying to set them up for a date with someone else and going out of their ways to make their dislike super obvious... that makes me think that's the total opposite of love.

Love from any close one (whether it's a partner, parent, friend, etc) should never be controlling, toxic nor overwhelming to the point it makes you argue or hate them. Would you tolerate a friend controlling your life no right? Same thing. Are those really the actions of any loving parent?

Feel free to specify an age below since the poll is pretty broad. And if you already have kids, whats the age you preferred vs how it turned out? I personally wanted kids early 20s. I decided to at least finish college first and completed a pointless 4 year degree by age 23. Ideally, i wouldve become a parent by age 24/25 but that sadly didn't happen. I’ve always preferred to birth all my children before the age of 30. At this rate, i’ll be lucky to have at least one before i turn 30. After 30, i have no intentions of birthing more and would much rather adopt at least one child.

I'm 26 and I've decided when I'm done with my Master's in Psychology. I want to have a baby. I don't have a boyfriend, but I've wanted kids for a while now. I already know the responsibilities both financially and how to take care of child is going to be. Taking care of my nephews and niece growing up, gave me an idea and it is hard. But I'm ready for a family of my own.
I did my research on Sperm Banks and it's thousands of dollars in the United States. Even for shipping and I live in the U. S. I have a couple of guy friends that are willing to donate their sperm to me because they know how important this is to me. However, if I go this route I want a legal contract stating that they are not required to be in the child's life, child support is off the table and full custody of the child belongs to me. Which both of my friends were glad to hear this and understand this. I'm just at a cross roads of which way to go. Tips? Suggestions?

Those are the types of people that can have a good conversation and smile in your face but gossip and talk bad about you with others... behind your back.

Isn't that cowardly? I find that low class behavior.
