I have friends, I don't trust people.
The people I trust are few and thoroughly vetted and tested in years of acquaintance, help in case of need, and support.
The rest of the people are there for my amusement and convenience. It's where I get my money from.

Usually, I can't trust people to really make friends with them. This is from past truama, sometimes, but mostly, it's rightly so. I always run into liars and jerks.

Other times, it is deathly hard for me to approach people. I've always had anxiety over meeting someone new. I'm not good at it.

Trust takes time also I tend to listen to my intuition and how I feel around certain people.. some you need to keep at a safe distance but rain friendly, this is more of a shallow friendship. Others once there has been enough time and trust to develop you gradually learn whom to trust.

Well, I have only BASIC trust on people. Hence no, I don't trust people beyond acquaintances.

For friends, I have understood I am not meant for friendships and so I prefer not to keep any contact beyond just acquaintances. No friendships.

I trust easily because im an open person and will share regardless. But i also distrust just as easily and will cut a hoe off when they betray that trust. I dont care to be friends because i refuse to commit to companionship. But if its someone i’m dating then i do want to become their best friend along the way. But if we breakup, fck that friendship. At this point, the people already in my life are the people that's gonna be there. I have severe trust issues and have had them for most of my life. Every time I let my guard down, I get reminded of just how shitty humans are. So I stay to myself and my small circle of friends.

I'm in the camp that doesn't think trust is something earned but gambled. Like you take a gamble trusting a person by risking betrayal but you do it anyway because it's worth it. Innocent until proven guilty, you know, not guilty until proven innocent.
