I voted B.
In my experience, dogs are more prone to begging and will eat anything they see you eating. If you feed them, it trains them to be beggars.
However, my wife and I have only owned cats, no dogs.
We never eat at the dining table. We've had cats who would hop up in our laps or onto the arm of the chair and try to stick their nose in our food. And cats don't give a fuck if you tell them no.
The difference between cats and dogs is, there are only certain things cats will eat. If it's something they like, they will keep begging. They only eat tiny bits at a time,, though. But if you give them a sniff and it's not to their liking, they will turn up their noses and leave you alone.

I have two cats. One of them will jump on the table when I am eating. I have tried to teach her to not do that, but. . . anyway, she will walk over to my plate, sniff to see what I am eating, then walk away. She never touches it.
Years ago, I had a cat who loved to eat dinner with me. i set a plate on the table for him, cut his food into small pieces, and pulled a chair out for him. He would stand in the chair, two front paws on the edge of the table, and eat from his plate. He NEVER got on the table! If he wanted more, he just looked over at me and stared until I got the message. He loved salad with ranch dressing. RIP Captain Dash!
Depends on the individual cat/dog I never had issues with cats wanting human food, even tried giving them it in their food bowl won't eat it. Until one decided he likes lettuce and literally stole a piece off my plate and ran off with it, another decided she likes coconut yoghurt and will shove her face in my bowl when I'm done.
It's our fault for giving them a taste of our delicious human food which smells appetizing. Now, they're all crazy spoiled.

It’s about the same because the stray cat comes to my front door every single day constantly looking for ham and turkey which we feed her. Actually it’s a rescue cat that my neighbor owns but she’s always on my property. She even sleeps on my outdoor office computer chair-by my front door sometimes. But I like the cat her name is Squirrel 🐿 and she looks like a squirrel. We pet her all the time and we even call her over. The thing is every three days she gets a little bit feisty and will give you a paw out of no where when petting her and she will scratch you. Sometimes drawling a little bit of blood
My cat often wants to sniff my food, but never eats any of it. I've even ordered sashimi for her and she just licked it once and went on her way. Granted I'm in the middle of iowa so the sashimi quality is likely subpar by some standard - particularly saltwater fish.
But I've never once went to a friend's house who had a dog and had it not whine about absolutely everything I eat.I had one cat who would jump on to the table and help himself to whatever he fancied that was on my plate.
It became a game between us.
Tom crossed the Rainbow Bridge during January last year. I miss that black couch potato so much.We have Yorkies and they run to any room where they hear paper or plastic crumple or smell food, then stare at every single bite you take without blinking, until you show them both sides of your hands at the end, in order to assure them that nothing is left.
Both are equally capable, but it's how you train them. For example, we have two cats. One cat we started giving nibbles of human food to when she was young. Now at 10 years old, every time we eat she there patting our arm or legs wanting a bite. Now our 8 month old kitten, we have not offered her any human food and even though she sees her sister begging, she does not.
Definitely cats. Tell a dog "no" once or twice and they will stop. Cats are very persistent when they want something. My cats will even knock my plate on the floor if they get frustrated enough at me stopping them.
Cats do what they do regarding food because they believe that you were actually eating food that belongs to them. Being cats of course they are right.
Dogs for sure. A dog will eat anything. My cats are curious about our food, and I can't say that I blame them because we cook everything fresh, from scratch, and it must smell awesome to them. But even with that, they won't eat everything we make.
I've only had a dog and he tries it but we've never given him anything so he's not too bad but he's pretty driven.
I said both equally. But some breeds are greedy than other breeds. Goes for cats too. I've seen firsthand dog's who want food tongues on the bench. But some cats seem to find their own food.
I have a dog and two cats. The dog sits and watches me eat. If I eat say in the lazy boy. The older of the two cats hops up in my lap a will try and take food right off my fork. The other cat is not at all interested in people food.

Simply put, I was able to train my dog very very well
but my cat seems to have trained me. dogs learn, cats not as much. Make a tuna salad and suddenly you've got a new bestie.
Fortunately my dog and cat are both equally relatively disinterested in our food.
definitively cats there asa will never get off the kitchen table at least dogs knows better to do that
My roommates cats hate me, like run at the sight of me. But when I’m cooking you would think they were my cats they will all come and sit and stare at me until I eat it all lol
Depends on how they were raised and what you allowed them to get away with.
Had cats and dogs and neither would beg for food at the table.
Trick was to feed them first!Dogs just bother me more. Always needy. Cats seem to give me space unless they know i need something. We understand each other better.
Neither my cats or dog beg for table food. It's how you train them. They do get a special plate on Thanksgiving and their birthday.
I don’t have the experience because all our pets learned quickly not to beg because they were smart and obedient. ❤️
