lol my mom used to try to do it with guys i friendzoned. She’d tell em “i gotchu! I already see you as a son so ima convince her to give you a chance.” Like Ma why you lyin to that boy 🤣 Most memorable would be some years ago when she tried to hook me up with this dude who worked at this Cherokee casino. She came home and told me she was like “Sir are you single? Good good, meet my daughter Desi *shows him a pic of me on her phone* I just think you’re adorably cute and would be perfect for her. *he responds im cute* Plus she won't care that you’re not black because we have some native American in us as well. How old are you? Whats your name? And Can i take a picture of you so i can take it home to show her.” Lmao this is embarrassing af cause she was acting like the ultimate creep but dude actually agreed to it all. He told her he was single, he was like 2 years older than me and he agreed to take the photo. I think his name was Jay or sumn. 😂🙈 but he told her to bring me next time to meet him. I saw his pic and he was cute tho like a hot young mix of jet li/jackie chan but i didn't have the guts to go meet him. Plus i was just too embarassed she did that so I fussed at her and told her to never do that again! I was also mad because she knew i was talkin to someone at the time but she wanted to find a better option since she didn't like him. Funny thing is... i forget all about dude and go to the casino like a year later when im dating someone. He ends up being at machine next to me, fixing it... i got up out my seat and left before he noticed me 😂🙈 #FeelFreeToList #iGotTheHookUp

I've had an online friendship with someone a few years ago; we meant a lot to each other and we discussed anything. We've had our ups and downs. Her other friend didn't want her to speak to me again and I don't know why; so we haven't spoken to each other for a long time. We only wished each other a happy birthday on our birthdays.
I decided to reach out to her again. To keep her anonymous I'm going to call her Abby.

Dialogue summary over the past 2 months
Me: Hi Abby, we haven't spoken to each other in a while. Are you okay? I hope you're still healthy and doing well.
No answer, she's been busy nor has been active at all

On her birthday
Me: Happy birthday Abby, I hope you're doing well.
Still no answer

Me: Can you please respond or come online soon? I'm starting to get worried.
Abby: Hey, thanks for worrying, I'm ok I hope you are too

Ever since I've been questioning myself; should I just unfriend her? She has hurt me so much. I tried to talk about the situation to someone else and they say that I've been too nice and too patient. I've given her so many chances and she only comes to me whenever she feels like it even though it's rarely ever. What should I do? Just leave it? Say something? Leaving it and doing nothing makes me feel like I'm making myself available when I shouldn't; I'm hurt.
