Lighting Your Eyes With Makeup: Make 'Em Sparkle

Shine in the inner corner of the eye makes it appear wider.

Glitter liner makes the iris pop and sparkle!

Sparkly eye shadow all over the lid and underneath helps your eyes appear overall bigger.

Be careful with chunky glitter - it could get in your eyes and if you use an eyelash glue before applying the loose glitter on your eyelids - it might be too much. Try to dilute it with a bit of a cream.

Completely ignoring makeup on your lower lash line could make your eyes look too narrow and smaller than they are - look at your eyes and determine what works for your eye shape.

Highlighting the inner corner when you're wearing a darker shadow should not be too different from the shade base of the main color. If the base is yellow, use the same color base for the inner corner highlight.

I have a couple primers that have a subtle or more prominent shimmer. Sometimes I just wear the primer with eyeliner and mascara for a subtle frosty look. A lot more products available than when I first learned to use makeup.
