It's weird...you think of your usual day and you think of maybe putting on some mascara, maybe some eyeliner... Or blush...

But what if you could wake up made up to the extent you find most pleasing for your own personal aesthetic?

What if there was a magical permanent makeup that doesn't worsen your skin or make it age prematurely - because you won't ever have to wipe it off?

Well...there is such a thing: Cosmetic makeup tattoos - also known as permanent makeup!

It happens in specialized cosmetic places and the process is the same as for any tattoo - a needle pierces the skin and deposits pigment.

Pain levels depend on the part of your face. The closer to your nose or lips the more painful it'll be.

You can imagine that getting your eyes tattooed will be weird and definitely painful, but maybe not as painful as you'd imagine.

Keep in mind the makeup will look shiny and raised due to swelling at first, but it'll soon become more matte and the swelling will come down - you just have to take care of it as you're instructed.

After getting tattooed it'll take about 3 weeks for it to fade to their permanent shade...so keep in mind you will be walking around a bit more 'painted' for those weeks than you might like.

Cosmetic tattooing doesn't last forever, the pigment fades quite a lot and needs to be touched up every few years.

When done well it looks great though, especially microbladed brows with an experienced artist 😍
