Exfoliating IS peeling...

Peeling Vs. Scrub: The real truth for those who want to know

"While a peel is a chemical exfoliator that usually has a watery, gel-like consistency, a scrub offers a physical exfoliation with a gritty texture. "Using a facial peel or scrub can help exfoliate the top layer of the epidermis, removing dead skin and excess oil," explains the dermatologist Dr Emma Wedgeworth. "Both can also give skin an instant brightening effect and can help in controlling oil production and breakouts." "

So, basically, according to experts, besides the texture, they're the same thing and can cause the same skin issues when used too often...

For some of those on this site who claim to be experts, I'd do my research before writing false statements making young kids on here ruin their skin entirely...

People: You don't have to believe me either. Just do your own research, don't fall for some kid giving you advice on here that doesn't know what they're talking about!

P.S.

Exfoliating or using peeling your face, as it were, is not necessary at all for your skin, but it's fine if you want a smoother surface -to get rid of dead skin cells- maximum of 4 times a month, i.e., once a week. Anything more than that will ruin your skin, and if you feel you need it more often than that that means you're not moisturizing enough...or you're moisturizing with the wrong cream formula for your skin type.
