Sometimes you're aware you don't have style, sometimes you're not, sometimes you DO have it, but there's something about it that bothers you...
Here are a few reasons why your style might suck right now:
1. Sizing!
Your clothing is too small or too big on you. When your sizing is off it doesn't follow the contours of your actual body, it deforms them or hides them too much.
2. Authentic Self!
You might be wearing clothing that you don't identify with, that you're not comfortable in or that just doesn't resonate with you. Pick a style that is YOU, not someone else you might admire.
3. Shoes!
A stunning pair of shoes makes all the difference! Comfort is important, but you can always have a pair of ballet flats in your bag in case the crazy pair of shoes you're wearing start killing you. In my mind, buying a killer pair of shoes isn't equivalent to them being incredibly uncomfortable. Buy real leather, but the height you're 100% comfortable with, choose the right width and you'll look amazing and feel amazing!
4. Miss-matching!
Sometimes you buy so many things that you love by themselves, but then you realize you have little to nothing to pair them with at home! So your only option is to buy more stuff to go with that or almost never wear them! Keep in mind what you ALREADY HAVE and then shop with that in mind!
5. Style Stagnation!
In certain moments of your life you NEED to change your style. If you were a Goth in high-school your style won't stay the exact same as you age - because just like your tastes, your style will evolve.
If you're still dressing sharply, but there's something amiss there for you, it's probably time to change your style - help yourself evolve by testing out more mature looks!

Maybe there's a lot more choice and options now, I don't know, but decades ago, you just HAD to accept whatever the 'in' style was. In the 70s, there was a stretch where mens shoes were two-tone, with 4 CM heels, and that was it, other than old man's wingtips. Same thing with glasses. The only style was huge aviators, which then dominated your entire face. I hated the lack of options.
Actually, now that I think about it, my wife and I had the same problem selecting wedding bands in the 80s. We wanted a vine-leafy style, and just about all that was out there were designs that looked like truck tires.
Isn't the girl in the second picture Kristen Stewart? I love her. some people think she looks cold but I think she has a mysterious beauty.
Yes, it is... Why is that relevant?
She's an example of a person not feeling comfortable in her clothing - and it's obvious she doesn't feel like herself in that dress.
She feels comfortable in this:

It is not directly relevant. As i said before i find her very attractive so i wanted to share my feelings about her, when i saw the picture. I am sorry, if i bothered you with my irrelevant answer by the way yeah you're right last picture is more suitable for her character;)
