I don't think this is a problem with chasing beauty so much as you have a deep rooted personal issue.
You're right about that, but she also was brave enough to fight to overcome and work on herself. Her story will be inspirational to other girls who needs to understand that we should learn to be the best us, and not another person.
Guys need to learn this too. Lots of guys try to be something they are not in hopes of being accepted by women. They think they need to be charismatic, stand-up comedians, who boldly flirt, and don't give a flying fuck about who they offend to be able to get laid or find love. Some think that being quiet, gentle, mild, good-hearted, and so forth is a curse when it comes to attracting women and that they need to be something they are not. Letting go, surrendering, is one of the hardest things for a person to do, especially when they yearn for something so much and feel that it is unobtainable.
