You can find fashion inspiration in almost anything if you look. Designers frequently call upon just about anything as a theme for their upcoming shows including the likes of well known movie and television and sometimes even comic book characters because there is such an easily recognizable association there for fans of the shows. This was another fun exercise in imagining what the looks of these most iconic Peanuts characters would look like in adult, human, and grown up form.
The Peanuts is of course an American comic strip that is one of the most popular comic strips of all time and is syndicated daily. It was written and illustrated by Charles M. Schulz, which ran from October 2, 1950, to February 13, 2000, continuing in reruns afterward making it one of the longest stories ever told by a single human being.
Often with cartoons and comics, a characters clothes become iconic to them. As they tend to remain the same, they make it easy for any new and old reader alike to easily identify them and their subsequent traits. Much is the same with our real world fashion. Certain people become known for say, always wearing black, or never wearing a dress, or loving polka dots or a certain football team which, as in both the comics and real life, says a lot about who we are as people without saying a word.
