Why do women look so ugly without makeup on?

they look absolutely gorgeous when they're wearing it, but without it they just look ugly and plain. like without it, they just don't look pretty enough to have as a girlfriend. its like the only thing they're good for is having a one night stand with when they're looking their best, but not an ongoing relationship. why do they look so ugly without makeup, and where did the idea ever come from that women are supposed to be visually-appealing to men?

I definitely think you should put more thought into how you phrase your questions next time. The blunt way in which you have phrased this question is hurtful. It's very shallow of you to stereotype every girl as being extremely ugly. Not only women but also young girls struggling with self-identity, self-esteem, and confidence read what is posted on this website, and one carelessly untactful post could lead to a young girl hating herself or even harming herself. Please consider this when you post in the future.
I pity you. Hopefully someday you will find a girl who you think looks beautiful regardless of what is on her face.
As for your question, I think that's a personal preference. A lot of guys could care less if a girl is wearing makeup; they would still think that she is beautiful. Maybe you prefer a girl with makeup on because you usually see them with makeup on, and that girls without makeup look less nice than they did before? Makeup is a source of confidence for many girls because it blurs the imperfections that they don't want people to see them as. I find that when I wear makeup people are more likely to see me for who I am on the inside rather than the outside (they won't judge me on a "bad" appearance and decide to treat me badly because of that), but also that people are more likely to be nice to me just because I'm good looking. When I don't wear makeup I feel more comfortable because I know that people are interacting with me solely because they aren't judgmental people. The most ironic thing is that I've had BFs tell me how great I look in the morning and with very little makeup on- those are the times I feel the most disgusting! If someone breaks up with you because of how you look, then they are shallow and good riddens. if the person is continually disheveled looking or doesn't keep themselves up, then that's different. But washing your face at night or not wearing makeup at the beach are normal, everyday things! Oh, and I can say that most of my BF's looked like crap in the mornings and some were not in the greatest shape, but that would have never been a deal breaker. It is obvious from your question that you are very young..

I'm going to say your statement has a degree of truth in it. I'm not gonna be the typical user of this site that gets easily offended but actually truly share my opinion.

I have myself noticed that many (not all) women look crap, then I noticed that the women who look crap without make up are the ones who tends to use lots of make up; not the women who uses little make up. It can be explained by the fact that many make up products uses ingredients that actually harms the skin, even worse there are actually cases of where women sleeps with make up on. That actually is bad as it blocks the pores of the skin. In the process damaging the skin which results in what appears to have a 'tired look'.
Notice how so many celebrities photographed look bad without make up, because in their line of work they wear a lot of make up. Not only that, people are used to seeing these celebs in the limelight with make up on from magazine to movies etc.. It's giving the public a perception that they generally look good, so without make up on it usually come out as a 'shock' to some people how drastic the difference is from what they usually see.

I agree with you. It seems that every woman that I have seen without makeup looks ugly. My advice to you is to not get married. Women will put a lot of effort into their makeup until a year or less after marriage. After that, they get super lazy with their appearance to a point where you pretty much have to be direct in order for them to put effort into dressing to standard while out in public. They will most likely make excuses and the average man will start looking for answers in search engines like me. All the while, the search engines return results that put the man at fault and will start listing off several other things by which they believe that the man should be doing. The search engines love to scrutinize men and unduly protect women from legitimate faults. Let me ask you something, doesn't this bother you that women use makeup to deceive people so that they in turn can get what they want? How does it make you feel as a man that these women are exploiting vulnerabilities that us men have? I do not hate women, but I am at a point now where I want nothing to do with them because they seem deceitful and because they are lazy in general with their hygiene after marriage. If you perhaps doubt me, I can accept that, but I would caution you to watch the photos of before and after marriage pictures of your friends on Facebook. You will see how quickly their appearance changes.(That part I mean their weight). Women are not worth the time and effort. Its better to live your own life without a Wife and be single. This way, you will not have to worry about them disappointing you. Most women are users, nothing more. Guard your heart man, and don't let them take your money, nor embarrass you in any way. Make them work their own way. Maybe then they will appreciate the men enough to realize how lacking in their appearance they really are. ( Most women will claim this is shallow. If you're thinking with a female brain then yes, it does seem shallow. A man's brain works differently. We naturally love to see a well put together woman. She doesn't have to be 10/10 perfect model looking at all times, but she at least needs to not throw her hair in that retarded looking top-bun with sweatpants on looking like she just rolled out of bed. At least basic makeup. A man needs this and a woman needs to deliver that because it can cause any man to be tempted to lust after other women. Eventually, people get old and we just don't look what we used to look like, and that is fine, but the woman and the man should always try to look their best with what they have. I also want to state that YOU do not need a woman. It is not a man's purpose to be born into the world for the sole purpose of getting tied down to the first decent woman that gives that man the time of day. YOU were born for so much more than that. Our music and society has us believing the lie that this is something that we should be focused on at all times. This is to distract men and cause the strong willed and high energy men to not pursue a direction that could shake the establishment.
