Perhaps people have noticed a correlation between women who own and wear chokers and submission. Do you like chokers, and if so, are you sexually submissive? I never understood why chokers signify submissive qualities in women either, unless the choker says something like "babygirl" or "princess" on it, then that's really the only indication. Psychologically, people don't always realize that the choices they make can actually represent something about themselves that they don't want to admit to, which Roosh V actually states himself around four minutes into the video.

Roosh V seems to be kind of misogynistic from the titles of his other YouTube videos, though, so I wouldn't really pay much attention to him. Just read the comments on his videos to see what type of audience he attracts.

I think that some women don't know how fashions evolved and what is the underlying unconscious thought behind that symbol. Sometimes women don't think logically and follow only the emotional angle of what they like and get trapped with wrong choices. In reality a choker is similar to a dog collar and may represent the values of a dog collar. And men may get the signals that a woman is begging for control and dominance by man without giving her options and choices. It is like saying , my pussy is wet. Somebody just come and fuck me soon , otherwise I will die. Just dominate me and control me completely , that's what I want.

I never wore them when they were popular a few decades ago, and I'm certainly not wearing them now, and not because they remind me of a dog collar but because they are ugly, and pointless, and visually cut the beautiful lines of the neck which is not a place that needs a divide or to be cinched in.

As far as the dog thing... a leash in that sense is about control. You want to control another thing by collaring it, but putting it on yourself for yourself is not the same thing. You already control you.

I wear chokers all the time. Some of them do look like collars. Yes BDSM is interesting to me. However, I don't wear chokers to represent my sexual kinks. I wear them 'cause they make me happy and feel badass. there's nothing sexual about them if you yourself don't sexualise them. I don't think that all chokers are a representation to BDSM, I think they are a fashion accessory, like so many other accessories.

A lot of ignorant people might think that but I think it's just fashion and women like it (I'm not complaining, it looks great) and wear it and it can mean that they're submissive. Chokers can also correlate to the person being kinky in bed which is always a plus.
