Okay guys I'm not talking about everyday or even the whole outfit I should've been more clear like maybe just a necklace and/or a little of the same colors or something nothing too crazy and it doesn't have to be exactly the same

  • Let's face it; every time I go clothes shopping with my girlfriend, she tries to find clothes of her own that are exactly or similar to what I'm wearing because wearing the same clothes sometimes sounds like a cute idea! It just shows how much the couple are invested in each other; even feeling comfortable enough to look identical to each other! I'll do this with my girlfriend sometimes; it just depends on what we're doing for the day.

I'm probably a little dorky for thinking this is a cute and adorable idea but then again I'm happily in love with my girlfriend! The thought of matching reminds me of how emotionally connected we are to each other! It's understandable why some people may see this as something creepy!

  • I find that little matching things like a tattoo or a necklace, bracelet, whatever are quite good ideas. I find them cute but if my partner didn't want to I'd be a bit hurt but not force it on them. My girlfriend and I do this sort of thing and I find it illustrates more that we are very close.

    • And if i had to clarify, i’d be nice to match in like certain colors. Doesn’t have to be the exact clothing.

  • I love this idea soo much but my boyfriend refuses to do it with me, he thinks it weird. He doesn't trust me, he thinks I'm going to put him in something girly, which is stupid because I'd never do that. I wouldn't go to extremes, I'd just match colors or maybe themes. We could both wear a red coke cola shirt with blue jeans or a star wars shirt and khaki shorts. He's still wearing men's clothes I'm still wearing women's clothes but it matches. I love this so much and it makes me so sad my boyfriend won't do it with me. I recently found a site that makes matching mens and women's underwear sets and I thought it was so cute, plus its under your clothes so no one would have to know but you but that gave him the creeps too. I guess it's more of a girl thing. I just think it's a cute way of displaying your relationship.

    • hmmm did you try showing him or telling him your ideas of the coke cola shirt with blue jeans or a star wars shirt and khaki shorts maybe he'll change his mind or maybe you can say if you loved me you'd do it just this once

  • If it is one time thing, or just on special occasions, then I think it's cute. It's actually adorable.

But if they do it every single day or if they do it with some bizarre choices, then I think it is annoying and kinda cringy

  • If it’s something you like doing then keep doing it. I can see doing it now and then for special things but not all the time. Wearing the same color clothes as each other is done more often.

  • Who cares what others think? It doesn't matter what I or anyone else thinks. As long as what you're doimg isn't harming anyone and you're not trying to force your views on me, it doesn't matter. Do what makes you happy. Only insecure people would hate you for it because they don't accept themselves

  • I think if it was mutually agreed upon by both parties, it's completely fine, and I probably wouldn't be vehemently opposed to doing it myself.

However, when I see other couples doing it, I have a tendency to assume that it was the girl's idea and that the guy is pussy-whipped.

  • I find it creepy. Like evil twins from horror movies. I imagine that they are in some kind of cult or are brother and sister and fucking each other.

  • I think most guys don't care what they wear as long as they are with the right person who makes them feel loved. Of course, that excludes douchebag guys who only care about looks.

  • I'd say that guy just failed a shit test. It will now be harder for her to respect him as a man, and will probably end up cheating on him for a Chad like myself ;-P

  • I think it's awesome and adorable!! I'd love to have a girlfriend who wanted to dress in matching outfits occasionally. It's sort of a way to show affection toward each other. :)

  • I find that when it is done intentionally it can be sort of creepy. Every time I've seen it done in real life its come across as whomever suggested the idea is trying to be possessive

  • I think it's kinda cool. Not all the time, but once in awhile. It's like how a sports team wears matching uniforms.. Sends a message. That couple is a team.

  • If it was me I think I'll do it only if we look decently good and once in a while. Not all the time and not going to wear something that makes you cringe.

  • No I would be kinda creeped out. The only way i probably wouldn't is if she was wearing a necklace that i made similar to these. The red one is mine and I wear it practically every time i go out. The purple one i made today and that's a regular steak knife to give an idea of size. For those wondering what it is. Its a fish hook necklace using honey locust thorns. They are sharp and strong and were sometimes used in place of nails for ship building. Mine is ment for survival. The smaller secondary barb for fishing the larger one is an awl should I need it.

  • I feel like it's good if gping to an event or something that has dress up stuff. But just around is kinda weird unless both feel good about it. (Looks dumb tho)

  • Its dorky but I mean it could be handy for if you get separated in a heavily populated place, like at a concert or some shit.

  • I only do it when I have children with me. We all have to be in the same color and moving as a unit somehow. It's just easier in case someone gets's lost and people naturally know we all belong together because we all have the same color on. Maybe not the exact same outfit but we're dressed similarly. Also, we all have some type of charm that says "The Evans" family and the emergency number if anyone ever needs it.

  • I admire them cause it looks like they are very happy with their relationship but I would not want to do that. I want us to have our own identities apart from each other.

  • You should get sweat shirts that say "I'm with dumb ass" with an arrow pointing at each other. That's about as lame as matching tattoos. :)
