Do you believe, often our “natural beauty” is overshadowed by makeup?

Especially girls now days start with the whole makeup thing so early as our social standards have changed in the pas decade or so. Do you think people are so caught up with looking like Instagram starts or the kardashians that they often forget about their natural look?

Kind of, especially since make up is so common, at least from what I've seen, but at the same time, makeup can make a major positive difference to the way someone looks, like hide flaws.

I think some feel pressured to wear it, due to it being so common.

Wearing makeup is fine, as I don't see a problem with caring for the way you look, but I do think that people should care for their natural look too, as it's the 'real them' and take care of their skin and body..

Well yes, if you are beautiful without it. But tbh, and im sure ill get hate for saying this. Not everyone is physically attractive, in fact, most people aren't. And thats okay. Some people look a little better with makeup on, others dont. Makeup makes girls feel confident who otherwise would not without it. Let it be

I think a lot of people do turn to makeup to try and make themselves look better but I also think sometimes some people just enhance whatever is there and it isn't always because they want to look like an insta model, sometimes people just like to look amazing and know they have the ability to.

Women these days love these rainbow unnatural colors and contour their faces and even do boob contours, WTF?
I love the French style make-up where women don't hide anything just highlight their natural features.
I much prefer the natural look.

Apparently I’m the only one, but I think it’s super sexy when a girl is all done up. Wings on the eyes, long black lashes, all that. I’m the unpopular vote here, but I’m just being honest. I’m not saying girls aren’t attractive without makeup, I’m saying they work hard on that shit, and I appreciate it. I have yet to meet a woman who I find looks better when wearing makeup. There's nothing more beautiful than one's true self, and hiding it, altering it, or enhancing it just isn't the same as the true look they have by nature. I know a lot of guys actually dont like the way makeup looks, it's often women forcing eachother to wear it for reasons unknown to me

I feel like the average woman is beautiful. However, I think women don't like to be average, so they try to improve. Sadly, I'd be soooo happy with the average beauty, but I've learned to dislike the makeup look. I find it especially sad for teens-30 year olds because they're not even old enough to lose their beauty. I think makeup gives women a different look, but not a better one. They just lose their uniqueness.

Yes my first girlfriend when she didn’t wear make up she would look like the cutest marsh mellow but with make up she seemed dry no feelings and would play a lot of guys while using make up and I still believe she does it to this day and now thinking about it I kinda dodged a bullet but now I’m bulletproof against her 😎

I would say using makeup is worse in the long run, keep it natural unless you wanna spice it up for a date. Will make makeup a benefit if you do so instead of when you take it off a negative thing. (tldr make your normal no makeup so you can give yourself a boost)

Women that are prettier without any makeup at all are very rare. The "No Makeup" look (the miminal makeup look) can look a lot better than calling it a amount of the time. But it depends on the girl and how good they are with makeup.

I think makeup should enhance your beauty rather than mask it. Natural makeup/minimal makeup looks more gentle and fresh, in my opinion.

Actually, the “No-Makeup” makeup look is trending atm. Girls just enhance their beauty and put a little concealer and highlighter on. The “Just got out of bed” look. You could look into it if you like.
