Cute is, first of all, very low-maintenance and effortless. It is mainly associated with appearance and behavior that's more adolescent/youthful, innocent and basically full of life and all... That's mainly what makes cute things attractive. Guys who are not into cute things often find them too 'annoying' because it's too childish for their liking.
Hot, on the other hand, is associated with being mature, and especially sexually mature. It's characteristics that separate a sexually mature person from a child. That's why sexually enticing things are called hot or sexy. And this is why clothes highlighting features like boobs or shapely figure, a husky mature voice (as opposed to high pitch voices), defined face shape and cheekbones, wearing high heels, lingerie etc are associated with being hot. There really aren't a lot of men who aren't into hot things (otherwise they would be a bunch of pedophiles) but for some men they might not like certain things because they find it hypersexual.
Even though cute and hot have an obvious difference, there isn't really any women out there who is only cute and not hot at all, or only hot but not cute at all. Almost every woman out there has some cute characteristics and some hot characteristics, some women just have more of one or the other. And this is why a lot of men think they are the same thing. They aren't.
T me they're 2 completely different things and you can have a lot of both or a lot of one or none of both. Cuteness has a little to do with looks, if you have a cute face it can enhance it because facial expressions are a part of cuteness. But it's mostly behaviour, how you react to the world how you interact with the world that's what really decides if someone is cute or not.
This video is about the person that to me is the cutest person I've ever seen. She's a part of a girl group but she's naturally very cute and cheerful. Cuteness is kind of a standard for girl groups but you can tell who's actually cute and who's just acting like it because it's expected. Her name is Sunny and it's the perfect name for her because she's cheerful and cute and kind. I also think she's attractive but ike I said that's a separate thing from the fact that she's cute.
Cuteness gives you like a warm fuzzy feeling and makes you wanna protect someone whereas hottness is just physical attractiveness to me it doesn't really say anything about how you feel about that person. A girl can be super hot but maybe I don't like her at all.
It's like 65% face, 15% body, and 20% wardrobe. Cute girls have more of a friendly/innocent look to their face while hot girls have more of a fierce/aggressive/flirtatious look to their face.
Having large breasts, butt and/or wearing clothes that are revealing tips the scale more in the hot direction but face is still the main driver for whether I perceive a girl as being more cute vs sexy.
I prefer cute girls because you can get the best of both worlds. Cute girls can look pretty hot/sexy if they wear lingerie or something revealing, but hot girls rarely look cute because their faces are locked into sexy. I also just perceive sexy girls as being more stuck up, promiscuous, and unfriendly.
It's tough... Cute is innocent and child like while hot is more like flirty and suggestive. Put it this way, cute is adorable leaning on the shoulder and treating you like family while hot is knowing what you got, I'd say keeping distance for the tease then at the right times rubbing against them something like that
Cute is something you can be look good even if the person isn't necessarily attracted to you or it's a sign you haven't blossomed to a sexuell woman in their eye. While hot is the whole package ie you fit the bill for their sexuell preferences and if there was no code of conduct they would be all over you. The later is something most women will never reach and they should be happy if they are just cute.
In my opinion u can be both. But for me hot just means more sexual. So if a beautiful girl dresses in a more sexual way or behaves more seductive she becomes hot. if a sexy girl wears a pullover no make up and behaves shy she becomes cute So for me it’s mainly behavior and clothes /make up that make the difference
Cute has to do with a certain look of her face. Hot is how she dresses and her body shape. Someone that is cute can also become hot, but someone that is only hot (not the right kind of face to be cute) cannot become cute. I prefer cute because their face matters a lot to me. Their face is the reason why I am not attracted to most people.
For me, behavior and the way they carry themselves is the difference, but I do use the words interchangeably. Having more sex appeal leads to the word "hot" being used more. Being shy, reserved, and more my type leads to cute being used more. I also tend to use gorgeous and beautiful when I am discussing looks only.
Cute and hot are very different things. A girl can be one, both or neither. Cuteness and hotness are both about personality, mannerism and physical appearance. Cuteness is more on the mental side while hotness is more on the physical side. Hotness defines how much a woman makes you want to have sex with her in my opinion. Cuteness is more about how much you want to hug her, how much she makes you smiles, how much you want to keep being with her.
Cute is the kind of girl I'd strike a conversation with and ask for her number to set up future plans. Hot is the kind of girl I'd talk to in hopes of being able to bend her over the first place I can.
i prefer the left one. i always liked the girls that are relaxed and dont care how they look. i think if they wear something thats comfortable or too big boyfriends clothes they look very cute. and i prefer cute over hot. :)
Cute is when you look good and a little sexy without much effort, hot is when you put in loads of effort and look stunning but it's almost all artificial or a product of hard work.
@SpiderLady Most do. A lot of those instagram model types either live in the gym or plaster on so much makeup and fake tan that they can hardly blink because of it. Being hot is a curse because the minute you decide to stop trying to be hot then all of that work is for nothing. Of course that's the kind of hot where people want and need to be noticed by as many other people as possible, whereas cute people only care about one person noticing them.
There are also plenty of natural, genuine looking beauties who are also hot. Obviously "hot" a very subjective term, but i think this girl looks effortlessly hot.
@SpiderLady She's definitely attractive but hot... no. She just doesn't fit in with that whole "fake it until you make it" hot aesthetic. Don't get me wrong, I REALLY don't like those plastic, fake looking Instagram "models" but that sort of hot only comes with some serious effort.
Cute girls are nice lookin innocent "girl next door" lookin girls.. "Hot" or "sexy" girls have sex appeal.. They can be pretty, or just have an okay face with a very nice body..
I guess it depends first on my taste as to what is beautiful differs from most. The Concert photo by more hot than the little outfit image. I would much rather to have a lover with a character rather the preserved cuteness.
Cute is when a girl has looks and a personality. Hot is when a girl has looks, but no personality. So, to be called hot is actually an insult to girls, but they just don't realize it.
I prefer hot, and the difference is that "cute" is like saying "I find you desirable, but you don't make me want to rip your clothes off."

Cuteness is more innocent and playful, I suppose it's more personality based. Meanwhile, hotness is more physically focused, with an air of confidence. I prefer cute! But that's just me.
The cute ones are cuddle materials. Playful and I'd love to spend a lot of time with. . . Hot ones are good too but I'd always be horny and less playful.🎶💞
In my opinion, hot is physical appearance. If I like how you look, you are hot. The way I see it, cute is how she behaves. Wearing baggy sweaters, being a goofball, that's cute.
