I don’t know enough people irl to say but per your pictures~They do not look too thin. They look small. seem to have smaller bones and less muscle, not necessarily less fat.
I do see many people calling a small boned person skinny, simply bc they take up less space ~even though they may be relatively plump compared to an actually skinny, larger boned person.
It surprises me quite often, the laziness in vision lol
There is also a stupidity of numbers in the same regard. A 6 foot woman can be rather thin at 140. Quite a bit thinner than a 5 foot person at 100 pounds. But it’s the number rather than size, that people respond to.

Being small and weighing less doesn’t mean skinny. It depends on ratio of many things
I do not find east Asian women too thin , no. Maybe could use some Toning. I do find many Americans to be over weight. I find runway models to often look ugly from being too thin.
East Asian in general have to watch their weight. Not just the women. They are at higher risk for type 2 diabetes. Medically, those of Eastern Asian descent have a lower BMI standard to follow because of their high fat tissue.
As an example, I'm black with means I'm more predisposed to being lactose intolerant and I am. I'm not calcium deficient, I just need less amounts and can get it from other foods. I mentioned this to show the difference in genetics.
In short, we shouldn't be holding them to the same standards of different races. These women are on the thinner scale even for Asian BMI, but they aren't unhealthy.
I worry about when it isn't their natural weight but many men strive for thinness too.
To be honest until recently diet had a lot to do with. More plant based diet with less meat and less fast food. With fast food restaurants being more available and more meat body weights have started changing.
I think their beauty standards are definitely too extreme when it comes to weight. But not every girl is actually as thin as the ideal is. I prefer the girls with some more meat on their bones.

Suzy is a good example of someone who fits the beauty standards when it comes to body type but is still not too skinny.
I don't necessarily think they are too thin but I do think society pressures them to be too thin. I have multiple friends that have each spent years living in countries like Japan who will say that you go to the doctor for pretty much any complaint and you'll get told to "lose weight" even if your complaint so obviously had nothing to do with weight.

No. I personally believe the ideal body is thinner than that.
Asians actually have the highest proportion of fat to lean body mass out of all races, they are quite soft, even if they "look" small, which is mainly to their small frames and lack of muscle, rather than due to lack of fat.
I think most of them, including your examples, are perfectly healthy, and I understand that it's just a product of their culture, but I do often find myself thinking "She'd be so much more attractive if she was just a little thicker." when I see a cute Asian girl.
Um... no. They're normal and slim, the way girls should be. Americans (I can confirm-- I live here) are too fucking fat because of a highly sedentary lifestyle, not enough exercise, and eating too much shitty food. A lot of these east Asian girls are not susceptible to that crap.

From living in Asia usually they are fine but there was the occasional bony one who looked ill.
When it come to most East Asian beauty standards it's definitely way to thin but there are good regular skinny people in Asia but eating disorders is common in places like Korea and Japan and the Japanese/and some Koreans are known for actually being to skinny for there hight/age luckily the women you showed arnt to skinny looking at all.

Not really, their diet and the types of exercises they do allows them to maintain a healthy slim body weight. Western women have more meat because their diet contains more fat and protein.
To me being like thin or skinny has always been normal...
I don't think they're too thin but they don't have a good body shape. They have rectangle or V shaped bodies which look good on men but not girls.

East Asian standard of beauty is : very skinny , long legs , white skin , curved facial features ( like westerns girls)

a lot of it has to do with there diet and exercise. maybe of them do not eat foods with hit fat content. so they often stay slim.

That's only a hand full, many women are thin. As long as they're healthy it's ok. Some Asian women have petite body frame too.
