When it's cold or raining, why don't people wear jackets or coats for their legs?

When you go indoors, it's easy to drop a top to adjust to the warmer temperature. Changing out a pair of pants is much more of a hassle. Additionally when you're outside and moving around in the Cold, your legs will warm up themselves to an extent, so it's generally not necessary anyway unless you live somewhere much colder than average.

They have those but most people dont wear them because just pants suffice for most

I know they exist it's just that it's weird nobody wears them. I can walk downtown and see a thousand people wearing coats on their tops, but nothing equivalent on their legs, isn't that weird?

It is in a level but think about how your body central area is where all the heat for everything else comes from so heating that keeps the other areas a little warmer

When its really cold you wear ski pants that are basically like a coat for your legs but most of the time the warm blood from your core keeps your legs atiquitly warm

Because water comes from above you, it really doesn't soak your legs like it will your shirt. But for those that work in the rain will wear rain pants and jacket.

Usually people wear pants and old styled women usually just let water hit their legs.

I mean why put a coat on your top half and not the equivalent of a coat on your legs? Why only half your body?

lol, even that just protects your top half! Doesn't it seem odd that we only dress up our tops and not our bottoms?

I mean personally I dont know many people that go out in cold / rainy weather with out pants on to be honest lol
