About the only "health" hazards I can think of is razor burn and maybe the occasional ingrown hair. Oh and if you are a fan of "A thousand ways to die" there is a.00000001% chance of cutting yourself and contracting a flesh eating bacteria if you use a dirty razor.
I waxed for years and the only problem I ever had was the ripping off the skin.. I'd be red for a few days.. And I hated the ingrowns.. I've been lasering for the last few years
From the women I know who wax, it hurts the first time, because you are pulling out full-grown hair, but if you maintain it after that, you're pulling out tiny new hairs before they grow to full size, and it's considerably less painful. The mistake is going too long in between waxings and letting the hair grow too thick before you do it again.
I find the razor stubble to be ridiculously itchy. so after a few days I’m walking around trying to slyly do something about the itch and it probably looks like I’ve got crabs or something.😂
I usually keep a little trimmed hair. I think it looks sexy. I do occasionally shave completely and I’ve never had any issues. I think as long as you’re hygienic and bathe regularly there shouldn’t be any health problems.
@CaptainLegal It isn't necessarily 'permanent'. I get some fine wisps that I knock back once every couple of weeks, but its minimal at this point. I'm a natural auburn, so it sorta worked. Darker and coarser the better, doesn't work well on blonds and light colored hair from what I've been told.
I dont but I should, sometimes when trying to urinate or even put it back in my pants my pubic hair gets caught in my waistband, or on my foreskin as it retracts or some other issue.
My pubes are x2 long as my penis when soft which is about 2in, so handling it alone within the overgrown forest is a difficulty as well
Try a hair removal cream like Nair. It works really great the only downside is the smell. It lust as long as shaving but there is no rush or ingrown hair or bleeding.
@CaptainLegal I break out from those as well. I’m going to get laser treatments done because I like it gone but don’t enjoy the rash. I would however leave a patch of hair because I don’t like looking prepubescent
Some people are more prone to yeast infections so removing all hair is stripping themselves off of the natural protection from harmful bacteria and dirt. It also lessens the friction during sex which is a benefit cause it is a sensitive area. But if you are doing it and do not experience discomfort then you're good.
I have been man scaping for decades and never had a problem. I do it hygiene reasons and also if I didn't, my body hair grows thick. I also prefer women to be the same way.

I remember that episode... miss that show
I use to get constant yeast infections when I shaved. I stopped shaving so haven't had any problems since then
You do hair removal in other ways then or you just go natural now?
Nah I let it grow natural. My guy says he refuses to eat hairless pussy because it looks like a baby
Sounds like a match made in heaven :) ... lol

A friend of mine waxes down there. I couldn't do that, itd hurt too much.
But I shave
Same! :)

I started having everything lasered off late teens. I can’t tell you how much I’ve saved in time and money on blades.
I want to do it too. How is it now? Do you still grow hair now? Is it permanent?

Does it hurt?

Other-- uhhh "If it is so unhealthy to be smooth down there" since when? What are you talking about?
Other posts I have seen on GAG have said that
Uh... yeah but that doesn't make it so. You know how many liars and outright morons use this site? Literally about half of all users.
I trim. I don’t shave because I break out in a rash every time I shave.

Oh that really sucks. I want to get laser treatments too. I'm gonna leave just a landing strip. I just hate having too much hair down there.
I like to have a Brazilian wax from time to time and I always thought it was better not just for sex but for hygiene too. What problems are those?
Iv always. likes bare down under butbthe northren hirls keep the Bush

Interesting... thanks!
I can careless but whoever designed those bikini's is a god amongst men and women. An absolute genius!!!
That would be "can't care less." Actually it would be "I couldn't care less."
Sorry I was on a bikini high

I’ve been shaving every week since I was 11 and I’ve never experienced any health issues.
Yes, there are valid health reasons to remain natural but I still prefer to be smooth down there.
I have not shaved yet but
Would at a ladies request
I think with women it comes from girls being told they aren't pretty if they're hairy.
What would be your opinion of that statement then Ms CYW?
I don't think its true, but if someone thinks they are prettier if they do it then they can do it.
Yes, that makes sense :)
I shave my armpits and "the nether region" everytime I take a shower. It just feels much more comfortable to me.
I don’t like hair I think it is gross but why is it bad to shave it cuz I didn’t know but I don’t have that much hair so maybe that is why
I shave everyday and I've never had any health issues
