Is it a sin to shave down there?

I'm Catholic.
I'm not married, and I don't shave down there for anyone. (I'm not in a relationship) I just simply shave because I like it better that way and I think body hair is pretty gross.

Seems to me it's your body, and it's your hair. If you shave, or pluck, or remove hair it's your business, not anyone else's.
As for sinfulness of shaving 'there' or anywhere; I can't recall any place in the Bible or any religious publications by the Church citing shaving as forbidden or sinful. If it helps your sense of well-being, then it seems to me that it is something you can continue doing without feeling guilt.
There may be some consequences, such as ingrown hairs, soreness, maybe a razor rash or the similar. That's caused by human stuff and is not God's punishment for removing hair.
In short, if you are doing it for cleanliness and comfort with yourself, that's good.

Like the other commenter joked, "It would be a sin not to shave it." and it's true — it would be a mistake, a disservice to yourself to keep yourself not groomed.

If it is, I've been a sinner since I was a teenager and will be a sinner for many more years.

Besides I knew a guy once who used a flame to singe all the hair off to avoid shaving, one way around a sin like that I suppose if you don't mind burning yourself.

There's nothing wrong with it and it's definitely not a sin to shave down there. Especially because in your case it's a personal preference which isn't sex related. Many Christians shave their genital area. I've been with Catholic girls who shaved.
