What do guys want on girls: Long or short nails? Painted or not?

If painted, what color do you usually prefer, vibrant or natural colors?

I'm not a fan of long nails or especially fake nails. Nail polish is nice. It can be changed to suit the outfit or occasion. Some colors are grotesque, though, and I really don't like gaudy decals, designs, glitter or multi colors. Clear is best, but red can be sensational in some circumstances. I prefer well groomed and elegant.

Great question! As a male in his 40s I really love and appreciate a woman who has really soft and nice hands and beautiful nails. I like medium to longer (pics 1 and 2 for sure). Love reds, pinks, neutrals, french, etc. Vibrant is nice on occasion. I'm really not picky. I appreciate that she gets her nails done and I love backscratches too. Hehe. Thanks!

I want long nails, as in- stilettos, they look better because longer fingers generally look better.
Stubby or chubby fingers aren't very appealing.

That being said, they better not be square or squoval, only psychopaths wear those.

Short and natural, painted fingernails don't do much for me, and long nails gross me out. I do think it's cute though when my wife gets her toenails painted, but I wouldn't call it a preference.
