Do you like culotte pants?

I prefer them during summer as they are very comfortable and are suitable for most situations, including going to work. However, they look best with tight an cropped tops which may be mostly suitable for women with hourglass and pear shaped figures as it highlights the waistline. They can look fine with baggy tops and other body types, but depending on how loose everything is the outfit can look too baggy and can make someone look bigger than they are.

Well, those culotte pants do look comfortable & aesthetically-pleasing as well. And the trousers in the 1st picture look a lot like the similarly-comfortable (& formal) 袴 ("hakama") of Japan, specifically, the 馬乗袴 ("umanori hakama";「horse-riding hakama」 ).

I have worn those trousers, and they are truly nice & comfortable… though I did encounter some problems (like nearly bashing my front teeth in, while trying to climb-up a flight of stairs) until I learned the proper etiquette for stair-climbing.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with that. (I actually had to buy a size smaller. That helped aside from the proper stair-climbing processes, but did not eliminate the issue completely. Yet, a size even smaller would be too small.) I guess, despite advances in textile-technologies & the standardization of sizes, there are still some things were tailor-made is still best.

Too long may have explained it more. The issue taught me very vividly & personally why girls hold up their long dresses when going up stairs. I never thought it would ever be relevant to me, but similar methods also apply to anyone wearing a hakama.

I think they're nice but they make me look shorter which I don't like since I'm already short.

I guess it may work in winter, I didn't try it. In the summer i mostly wear culottes and skirts now. Shorts don't do my figure justice udually

I can wear tights in summer under them, just not like super thick ones. I’m telling you it looks super cute, gotta try it once!!

Yeah, they look good, I will keep that fpr autumn though. I wear them in the summer because they are less warm than skinny jeans, i wouldn't want an extra layer. But for colder days the tight will do the job. Thanks.
